About

HJH Tech Inc., a division of W. Hunter Electric (2005) Ltd., was founded in 2012 to provide commercial and light industrial electrical service to Saskatoon and area.  The staff of HJH Tech brings a vast amount of experience in steel buildings, new construction and renovation for both commercial and industrial applications, service and maintenance of commercial buildings, and lighting upgrades.  HJH Tech also provides fire alarm repair, upgrades, and installation.


HJH Tech Inc. strives to provide our customers with the best service possible throughout the electrical construction process.   We are also the authorized dealer, local installer for Starline Track Busway.

Light Industrial/Steel Buildings

 

HJH Tech Inc. can meet your light industrial needs. Our licensed journeyman electricians and apprentices have experience in installing service distribution, cable tray, programmable logic controllers, and variable frequency drives.

 

Fire Alarm Installation

 

A fire alarm system is an integral part of safety for both people and property. HJH Tech can install, repair, and upgrade your fire alarm system.

 

Lighting Upgrades

 

The staff of HJH Tech will work with you to determine your lighting needs and find the most efficient solution. We provide lighting upgrade services for warehouses, restaurants, commercial, and light industrial settings. We are able to work with the suppliers and SaskPower to access lighting rebate programs.

 

Renovations

 

HJH Tech would love to have the opportunity to give your current space new life and a new look. We can provide services for commercial and light industrial renovations.

 

New Construction

 

Saskatoon is a vibrant and growing community. HJH Tech would be pleased to work with you, either through a design build or an engineered drawing, to meet your new construction needs.

Our Team

Nathan

Nathan Heale

Nathan is co-owner and president of HJH Tech Inc. Nathan was raised in Saskatoon and graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate. He obtained his journeyperson certificate in 1996 from SIAST. Nathan spent six years in the Alberta oil sands as a construction electrical foreman and now specializes in designing electrical layouts for steel buildings. He enjoys his time volunteering as an executive member for the Zone 3 Softball Association and coaching his daughter’s team.

Kim

Kim Hunter

Kim is a co-owner of HJH and was raised in Saskatoon. Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a certificate in health care administration from the University of Saskatchewan. Kim has also received her Health and Safety Administrator designation from the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association and an applied certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from SIAST. Kim looks after human resources and safety.

Wayne

Wayne Hunter

Wayne is a co-owner at HJH Tech. He is a Saskatchewan farm boy who decided in 1981 to pursue a career in electrical.  He began working in Calgary, Alberta, but in 1982 with the downturn in the Alberta economy decided to come home to Saskatchewan.  Wayne began his Saskatchewan career in Outlook and moved to Saskatoon in 1986. Wayne obtained his journeyperson certificate in 1986 from SIAST.

Robbin Janzen

Robbin is a co-owner at HJH Tech, and was raised in Martensville.  After high school Robbin completed her training at Saskatoon Business College.  She worked for Deloitte from 1995 to 2010 in an administrative capacity.  In 2010, Robbin moved to her position at W. Hunter Electric/HJH Tech Inc. Robbin is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and benefits.

sheldon

Sheldon Janzen

Sheldon is a co-owner at HJH Tech, and was raised in Martensville. After graduating from high school Sheldon felt the electrical trade would be a good fit for him. Sheldon began working for a Saskatoon electrical contractor as Wayne’s apprentice. Sheldon obtained his electrical journeyperson certificate from SIAST in 1998.
